Hailing from God's Own Country, Kerala, India, Matt G draws influence from his western rap idols J Cole and Tupac Shakur to address important societal issues through his bars heavy rhythmic poetry. In 2018, Matt G started working on his debut EP with producer REJ. Being a conscious creator, Matt G has been continuously working to make his debut a timeless project. After a short hiatus, Matt G is to drop his debut 'Homecoming Vol.1' in 2022 with multiple artists from India and abroad.

 

Matt G is striving to leave a lasting legacy in the Indian underground hip-hop scene through a quality music catalogue.
